Default Museo Ducati

These are from my December 2nd visit, during the one-day strike. Needless to say it was quiet, very quiet but I still had a great time.

This is the entrance to the museum, again deserted...

This is some of the stuff Ducati use to make, before they got into motorized bicycles. Ducati do not take credit for the intermittent windshield wiper. Lucas Electrical gets that honor!

The offices were deserted.

Looks like about a dozen people went through before me (visitors book) -

That's it. It was a nice way to end a 6 week business trip. I'll be back.

Awesome! You and your camera did good! I especially like seeing the ice-racer. Thank you for sharing. MH

You're welcome. No close-ups... this is everything. Next time I'll take a ton of really, really up close, detail shots. The Ducati snack shop made the best cappucino - the foam was a work of art!

Well I was the only one on the tour so she asked me what I wanted to see. I asked to see Manufacturing, Engine Assembly and Testing, the Racing department, and Final Assembly. And we also stopped-by Shipping. We didn't go to the second floor (if there is one) and I didn't see any painting.

Racing was the only area working however we couldn't actually go-in, we just looked through the windows. It was very quiet.

Then she took me to the museum and told me to take my time and then visit the Gift Shop. I wanted to buy a set of coffee cups but was certain they'd break in my luggage so I only bought one (and it made it fine).

So I guess that was the full tour.
