Thought it'd be nice to see everyones ride - here on one thread.

well i wouldn't really call this my "ride" quite yet... but things will be coming together VERY quickly over the next two weeks or so:

Awesome! It really looks like it's coming together. I will be interested to see your choices on exhaust, and how you plumb that radiator, since it's a lot different from the 916/996 plumbing.

thanks! being the "ducatipipemod" guy, i think it's only fitting for me to rework an aftermarket exhaust system for my purposes. will hopefully run something between 50-54mm diameter to give the motor some breathing room. for the radiator, i got the 999 radiator with the motor and it looks like it'll line up quite nicely on the monster frame with some minor adjustments to the hangers so i'm not concerned there. what's going to be a challenge is i'm going to try my hand at making CF parts because an airbox that will work for this configuration (999 motor in monster frame) just doesn't exist. while i'm at it, i'm going to try fabbing a custom mono-posto tailsection and a full-length bellypan. we'll see if they turn out like garbage or not!

i've gotten most of my bits from motowheels but al and company from riverside have come through on some trick bits at great prices. carbon tank, some brakelines, carbon rear hugger and headlight bucket, and some other hard to find stuff.
