The decals don't thrill me, but I can live with 'em.

The BFP fender and FrenTubo lines are off the old 998. I installed the FrenTubo clutch line and EVO slave, but I have to buy new lines for the brakes because they are four pad instead of two pad ...different line ends.

I'll pull the clutch case and vent it this weekend, then install the Moto slipper that I took off the old bike.

Fun.

At the very least... the garage floor will be polished to a shine by my ass from all the skooting around I have to do.

I can't wait to have both my legs back.

Heck one way of not having to buy the bike lift ... thus saving money for more mods

Well...sorta'. I'm on crutches. Still can't use my left foot. I'm not going to let this little mishap keep my psycho ass down.

I used two extension tubes off my wife’s vacuum cleaner as a way to push on the brakes in my Dodge 4X4 before I was supposed to be driving. I’m too hyper to set in one place for more than an hour or so. The wheelchair was murder... so I escaped.

I can't ride, but can still tinker.

Best thing for you too, it is amazing that you give your mind something to think about other than the pain and pissoff of being out of action that the healing gets easier.

The mind is a powerful tool and when used correctly (like purchasing an FE) it will do wonders, your incentive is now parked there Mental, I look forward to your first post when you go riding.

I had to open her up for some surgery. I was going to vent the case myself, like I did the last time, but a friend of mine owns a machine shop.

Getting all the stuff off the old bike and onto this one. I got hold of Kevin Bidgood in So. Africa for replacement parts for the rear sets he makes. Cool.

I also opened her up so she can breathe. I forgot what a bitch that is to do. I’m saving my pennies for some new BFP CF air runners.

Who needs pain pills... I've got a Duc to keep my mind occupied.

Fun.. fun ..fun

Another step closer......

My Termi half system should be here tomorrow. Although... it’s taking so long to get here, I think it was shipped in the back of someone’s VW hippy van.

Now all I have to do is find an STM Ti wire guard. Dave R. said he's still waiting for some to show up.

The folks at STM must be busy cooking up a batch of crack out back in the shop, so they don't have time to make the guards.

NOTE TO SELF: Put tools away.

After I saw that pic of your bike w/ the STM guard on it and vented clutch cover, I'm now planning on those mods... THAAAANKS lol. Anywhoo, might be worth checkin these links to see if the guards are actually in stock. Not DucSea... but they may actually have them without a 3 month wait on the alleged crackheads at STM .

And another step....

Looks like I need some new BFP CF bits for my new exhaust.

I probably 'otta just order some BFP CF air runners at the same time.
