I enjoy both for sure - it's not a bad day when you can ride a couple of Ducs at the track. The Hypermotard is a customer's bike (I want one bad...) and I was getting the suspension sorted for him, made some big improvements and he had a smile on his face after all the changes so that was a plus!

The Hypermotard was easy to ride after getting off the 749/849 but I have a soft spot for supermoto type bikes, especially eating up sportbikes on roadrace tracks! I could live with a Hypermotard S everyday and with the suspension reworked to my liking enjoy the hell out of trackdays.

This was during the morning at a recent track day. Unfortunately the clutch seal failed shortly after, ending my day before I could push things.

funny you mention that. i met a guy at Mid Ohio earlier this year who had 999 bodywork on an SV, painted exactly like mine. Apparently, he saw my avatar on the WERA board and went with the same design. i must say that his paint job was quite a bit nicer than my rattle can though. when i first saw him at tech, i thought he stole my bike and was tech'ing it!
