Being a slow git I didn't realise I was supposed to upload my track photos here. I went for the member gallery instead but here goes.
All photos were taken by Gary Bailey © (
picman.co.uk) at the Arctic Circle Raceway in the northern parts of Norway.
Great track layout and even better tarmac! Incredible amount of friction btw the tyres and the track surface providing super grip and boosting confidence.
The bike is a Ducati 998R which has been severely modified over time. Quite a few RS parts and other changes in order to bring the weight of the bike to an absolute minimum.

Aluminium 23 litre race tank, Sec8Sbk triple clamp w/27mm offset in combination with 23.5 degree rake.

Too many mods to list them all but you should be able to spot the crankcase breather system, full Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system, forged magnesium Marchesini 16.5 inch wheels, CycleCat rearsets, RS seat pad, RS airbox, RS fairings and belly pan, SpeedyMoto 10 spoke clutch cover, Surflex slipper, RS battery tray and matching battery (hence the black plastic suitcase with the heavy duty battery cables), Aluminium race tank, RS coolant/fuel spill tank, Öhlins DU143, Braketech rotors, RS magnesium swingarm (large rear axle), rear CF mudguard etc, etc.

Warming up in great surroundings.

Running on intermediates due to wet portions on the track.

Exiting the righthander leading into the 180 degree depot turn.
