I think it was the tires. It was first session of the day, but it was 80+ degrees out, so the track had to be warm. It was the 3rd lap, i ran 2nd lap at full pace, so the tires had to be pretty warm.
It was my first set of race tires, 4th track day on Dunlop 208GPAs. I think even tho there was plenty of thread left, the tire must have been cooked from heat cycles. Yet, i remember checking them at the beggining of the day and they did not feel too hard. I do not own/use tire warmers and am used to running Pilot Power street tires.
I really dont think i did anything wrong or different than laps before. I was hanging off, slightly on the throttle, definitely not coasting/pushing the front. The front just let go out of nowhere.
But in all seriousnes i am not 100% sure what really happened, hence my confidence being way down as i am second guessing my own actions. I think i did everything right, as i did during last 20+ track days during last 2 years, but there i am on the ground.
That kind of uncertainty screws with ya head, does not it.

That's about 20 minutes into the first time I ever rode it, and about 20 minutes before it became a victim of poor assembly and this new over tight crank end play spec. Still apart, all over the garage... It would be sold already if I hadn't ridden it like this before it let go. Was nice while it lasted.
