Not fun...
Ahhhh...
Finally a photo sequence that captures what it is like for so many of us who run/have run Ducatis at the track. Photos courtesy of Dito @ gotbluemilk.com.
Enjoy re-living the moment!

The aftermath...
...Stuck on a hillside while you wait for the session to end and the crash truck to show.

Damn David, looking pretty suave as usual.
You know, you got those white plates now, so there may end up being a Archille vs. Trussdude vs. acruhl showdown here at some point... And I'm the one with the 996 so you guys got no excuses!

Me at Firebird West on my "street bike", before I destroyed my favorite helmet ever, (and no I'm not wearing sunglasses):
Me on my first day out on the new 996 at Arroyo Seco chasing my good friend Dean:
One of these days I'll buy new gear. I hate breaking in new gear though. My gloves have wear holes (the old ones I had before I crashed in my newer ones) and my trusty old Alpinestars boots which very nearly have a hole through the bottom.

...I say, bring in on, Suckas!!! (Trussdude v. acruhl v. Archille, it is.)
Your 996 is not a valid excuse for anything, Andy. From the look of things, it's pretty fast. I am sending my 999R to Ducshop come Jan for some work done. Should be good as new when it comes back.
