First 300 miles...

Received the bike last friday, and this is what I found so far,

All the things that I read before buying, about the FUN, the tickets, the handling, YES, they were ALL true !!!
*The handling is just INSANELY FUN, GREAT, CRAZY, CHALLENGING !!!
*Engine sometimes dies abruptly, so quick that if I don`t inmediately pull the clutch there will be bad news, I hope this is due to the breaking in time.
* Gear ratios in first and second a bit too close and low for easy around town riding, you either ride fast or don`t.
* Front brake reservoir vibrates too much, don`t seem properly mounted.
***DEFINITELY NOT A BEGINNERS BIKE AT ALL, newbies BEWARE !!!
* I am concerned about the durability of the LCD panel, I will make some kind of cover to protect it from sunlight when parked.
* A guy at the highway toll asked if it was a 125 or a 250, je je je...
* Cruiser riders ignored it every time, sport riders stared constantly, so I guess it looks more young than old, which is what I like the most.
* Did not use the mirrors ever, I never do anyways, so I`m glad I can hide them until I need them.
* At low speed, water from the front wheel flies into the headlamp, so I am thinking of using Rain-X if I can, but need to find out if it will not harm the lens.
* I rented another Hyper on saturday, and let my 18 old son ride the new one for the day, and the bike looks so cool, pretty, and fun that I don`t now what is best, to ride it or to look at it !!! ( Don`t worry, my son rides better than I do I think, he`s been riding since 3 y.o. )
* Miss the strong handle the tail of the SS has, the "spoiler" atop the stop light is just for looks, feels weak.
* Love the quiet of the mufflers, can talk with my younger son when carrying him, hes 12, he constantly ask me questions.
* NEED A RACK !!!!!!! Got adicted to the rack on my KLR.
* This bike, at least for me, is IT, is the perfect bike for an ex motocros rider who has to go to work, and has to carry a passenger, and is adicted to fun riding, and still feel young.
* This bike is NOT A TOY, can get me hurt in the blink of an eye, because it has lots of torque, and because it wakes the kid that lives in my heart.
* Those brakes, what a dream, the front brakes are soooooo sweeeeet.
* Only concern now is thieves.
I dreamed of this bike for a long time, a dirt bike with a big engine, street tires, good brakes and good looks, Ducati did it for me.
