Default Hypermotard Personal Mobility Device

I purchased the Hypermotard as a personal mobility device to celebrate my recent attainment of medicare eligibility. Hopefully I will be reimbursed for the purchase as a medical necessity.

I did some upgrades to the S model and added the race exhaust and cams. I highly recommend these modifications. The bike turned 96 HP on the AMS dyno as compared to a stock 1100 measuring HP in the low eighties. The cam really transforms the character of the motor by making is seem much more like a race bike. Only down side is that it is a little cold blooded and will stall if you don't blip the throttle, after the bike warms up that problem goes away.

I had the opportunity to take the bike out to Motor Sports Ranch which is an interesting circuit with no long straights - I only got into fourth. I was running with four valve Ducatis and other Italian sportbikes - some piloted by experienced racers. The bike was really cool in this environment. In the short straights the torque would pull your arms out of the sockets from 6K to the redline. (Though I really would prefer an analogue tachometer.) Other riders were a little amazed at how quickly the bike went through the twisties with so little apparent effort. I was amazed at the body parts I was dragging in the corners. I am an old man who is easily frightened, but found I could keep up with most of the sportsbikes with the exception of the racers.

I have owned a number of toys in my years, but none that have combined the outrageous performance and, dare I say, the practicality of the Hyper. It might just become my favorite bike.

Default Personal Mobility Device

I'm thinking all we need to do is find a doc to write a prescription and then take it to your local ducati dealer to get it filled.

{Note to anyone who is taking this seriously - don't. }

That all sounds good to me. I just bought the new Leo Vinci with cat remover, and I also bought the race cams kit as it comes with ECU. I am expecting all this in about two weeks. Now looking at the forum in UK, I see a guy who just blew up his engine, probably because of the race cams, so I am worries.

Who installed the DP race cams ?
How much is involved: 6 to 8 hours ?
Is it risky even done by pro?
