Well just happened to call the dealer this morning and was told they had just finished up putting my bike together.... I was a bit confused as I was buying the demo and there's like 10 days till the 90 day demo period is up. Well they had an S come in yesterday so they threw a set of Termis on it and swaped the DP seat over on to it and let me have the 0 mile just out of the crate one instead
1st impressions.... Pulls like a freight train on crack, feels 100 lbs lighter than it actually is. With the rear link wound all the way in it's the perfect height for my 5'7" 30" inseam self. With the rubbers off the pegs the placement of the pegs and levers is just about right, I may bring the brake up just a tad though. The adjustable clutch and brake levers are great, I clicked them around a bit and got them dialed in just where I like them. The clutch is the smoothest out of any bike I've ever had, and the brakes are superbly smooth, easy to modulate, and powerfull
Mirrors suck but it may be a loose screw or 2 as the handgaurds don't seem to be as solidly mounted as I think they should be. The DP seat is harsh for my boney butt, think bicycle seat and the numb nuts you get if not wearing cycle shorts....

I need to play with the slack in the throttle cables as there is way more slack than I like. Oh and I hate the thing on the interstate the buffeting from the tractor trailers is just horrible, this from a guy who thinks a KLR feels pretty well planted in the same situation.
Oh and 1.7 gal burned in the 1st 77 miles on the Odo (45 mpg) - trip said 45.7 miles
Pictures to come soon.....
