I'm not sure what model this goes to (maybe 851/888 series) but it's 52mm in diameter and looks as as new. I plugged it into my 996 gauge cluster and it appears to light up and work. $50 plus shipping and it's yours.

That looks just like the one in my 92' 851. Also same as 93-94 888's
p.s. Won't be accurate on your 996, needs a different sending unit.
