You are obviously not a qualified buyer anyway so your comments are trivial. All you guys commenting that $15K is a fair price for this bike obviously don't know much about the bike. The comments are entertaining but I don't take much stock in comments from people who are misinformed. The bike will sell for my asking price or I will keep it along with my collection of other vehicles. No worries. Thanks to the positive/realistic responders.

Ha. Corse955 I can see you spent the better part of the day writing up that hilariously witty post. Nice work. If you HAD $14K I would consider taking that as a down payment and holding the R for a couple months until you can borrow the other 10K. I'll work with you man. If you HAD a 955 you would probably be a little bitter about the current market "value" of it. I get it but this is an entirely different bike that is much more desirable. Let me know if you can raise that deposit and I will consider you as a candidate to own this bike. Good luck.

Normally I don't comment on these "offered" threads but, the market value of your bike is what it would sell for at auction--which seems to be between $15-18K........To suggest that a 955SPA is less desirable that a 998R, and that the market "value" of an SPA is tanking in this economy while the market value of the 998R magically seems to keep rising, is just stupid talk.......The 955s are the rarest of the rare--I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale. With around 50 built worldwide, I would take one over the 998R in a heartbeat--that and I absolutely love the older Cagiva graphics plastered on the side of the SPA

"Consider you as a candidate".....THAT'S RICH! Does he also need a note from his Mommy? How 'bout an FBI backround check to make shure he's enough of a douche to swallow yer bullshit? "candidate"....THAT made my day pal!

This is no ordinary $14.5K, it will be paid in very rare crisp 100 bills (plus two twenties and a ten, for those counting) straight from the federal reserve. These are not the new style gay ass bills that are so common these days like the ones Obama has been printing non stop for months. No, these are the real deal new old stock 100 dollar bills, made when men were men, like Tricky Dick, who paid to have the Democratic National HQ broken into. Now there was a president! Few will ever see bills this pristine. They spend like no others. Very high performance with consecutive serial numbers!! Rumor has it that the old printing presses were powered by a Honda V4! Contact me at corse955@don'tbeadouchebag.org right away.
You forgot the billions Bush spent the last 8 years looking for the boogyman and the big bomb in Iraq. All of a sudden its vogue to pinch pennies now? Spare me the hypocracy.

Well, I'm counting; retired military, and I'm quite familiar with (the) Rosetta Stone thank you very much! And there ain't no way in hell, you're gonna get to $14.5k with just two twenties and a ten...no matter how many crisp Benjamins you use!

Default Mea Culpa

Note to self, never post at 3:00 am.

Still firm on the 14.5K.

ANOTHER free bump for a very nice moto.

Carry on.

The market is still strong for the right bike. A 996R just sold out of NH for 21K, granted it was brand new.

Again lets leave this guy alone about his price, if you are not going to buy it just keep on clicking and don't comment.

the only thing he has said that i disagree with is about the 955. I would also take a 955 ( 916 sp, or spa) in a second over the 998R. have been trying to buy one from a guy with a few thousand miles on it for 4 years now. i email him once a year and see if he wants to sell....hopefully one day he will say yes.

My sister is a special olympics athlete and she said that you were actually very difficult to beat in a couple events. She said you got a gold or two so maybe you can answer that question?

Poor example on my part, I have the upmost respect for ANYONE who gives their all in persuit of excellence. On my best day, I couldn't carry water for a Special Olympian.
