Fs: 2005 999s
I am putting my 2005 999S on the block. I had purchased it a year ago for it to be a dedicated track bike. I took it out to Button Willow a couple times, just enough to get it dialed in, and have decided that it is more bike than I want/need on the street or track.
The bike runs and looks great. You are more than welcome to have a shop look it over for you, your expense but I would drive it to either shop in San Diego.
It has:
Termi slip on & ECU that are part of the S package for these bikes
Speedy Moto frame sliders
Lighter Forged Aluminum Rims from an R
License Plate Clean Up Kit
Heavier springs front/rear for a 235# rider. I have the stock springs.
Other than that it’s pretty well stock and it runs really strong.
The only item of note is that there are a couple marks on the forks that the previous owner said were from tying the bike down and some cable rubs. My dealer said they look fine and they presented no problem at track speeds in fast sweepers.
I have been going back and forth with another member here for a trade with a Hyper S but want to get it out there in case that doesn’t go through.
