For Sale: Corbin Seat for ST2/3/4

I am looking to sell the Corbin Seat from my '02 ST4S, and I figured I'd post it here before putting it up on Ebay. I purchased the bike in Aug '04, and it came with the seat, so I don't know exactly how old it is. It is the "standard" model, in black with red piping. It is in very good to excellent condition. It will require the latch bracket from your stock seat, as I will be removing the existing one to transfer to my new seat. The seat comes "backrest ready", and has a "corbin" flap covering the hole.

I am asking $300 + shipping for it (new is $399+).

There appears to be a lack of interest on this offer. Is that because my price is too high (as has been pointed out on some of the other forums), or just that there isn't much of a market for an ST seat? In lieu of new information, I'm willing to lower the asking price to $260.

now you're in the ballpark. last one on ebay went for about 300 with backrest a 600 value. i think once you get within $100 of new no one needs it that bad. also not everyone wants the red piping. black piping = any bike and resale later. I've been watching it for a while, but seeing as my bike is in the shop, I wanted to ride again before buying more things for it. I do want it, but not in any rush. I'll give you $225 including shipping.

ps- was it the carbon looking leather? leather insert? and not the "close corbin"

I have been watching also and yes the price was high previously. Now that I am third in line let me know if becomes available at the 225 mark or there abouts.
