Default 2000 748 / 853 Motor For Sale!!!!

I have a 748 --> 853 kitted motor for sale. 853 kit installed by Kyle Thompson @ Naults Ducati in Manchester, Heads ported by Bruce Meyers of BCM Ducati in Laconia. Lightened Flywheel. 112 rwhp on 87 gas. SOLID, STRONG motor. Crashed bike, and am parting out what's left. Motor has LESS than 2000 miles since the 853 kit was installed. Pulleys / Rockers were replaced last winter in a tear down.

Freshened up every winter.

This motor makes more HP than a stock 916 motor and has a WAY fatter torque curve on the dyno. Very linear power delivery, NO dips aaround 6000 rpm like your stock 748.

Asking $2000 o.b.o.

Motor is located in Concord NH. Fogging oil has been sprayed into the motor prior to fall storage.

Not @ all. The motor was running fine in the bike after the crash. We took the bike apart, and it's been in my garage since. It was a couple weeks there before I got some fogging oil to spray in it, but other than that she has very little time since her last "freshening" which was last winter. Only a few hundred miles since then!

PS: I think I could get dyno printouts from Naults of the motor should anyone want them along w/ the motor after sale.

The fellow interested decided to get heads for his 748 instead of a new motor, so it's still for sale. Thanks

Yes the cams are stock. It has re-seated valves, ported heads, lightened flywheel, a new clutch (last winter), new pulleys and belts too.
