Default Wanted: Bip rubber pad "posts"

Part #: 866.1.020.1A Rubber pad
These are the "pads" that are on either side of the locking mechanism under the tail. Mounts on both sides of the bracket that has the cone-shaped point that makes the tail lock down. I think they carry some of the passenger weight. I am looking for two.

Is it possible to find a stronger version of the part # 866.1.019.1A rubber pad that fits under the seat pad. The original are two sensible to heat, and become too soft. Then you sit actualy on the frame, and the seat body hits the airbox sides.
Anybody with the same problem?

Ask your dealer. You'd be surprised at how inexpensive many parts are. I have replaced lots of little things like that on my bike and always just get them from the dealer. Rubber for the brake and shift levers, new tank hold down strap (SS), well nuts, seat buffers (sounds like what you need), and a few other little odds and ends. They usually are not in stock, but I haven't had to wait more than two weeks for anything. Most stuff I had in a week as long as it was in stock at the warehouse. The most expensive thing I got was the tank strap. I think it went for $11.00.

Call BCM. They've usually got stuff like this in stock. Those are probably only $1-$2 a piece.....I just got a handful of those blue 'donuts' that are all over the bike for like $.89/piece.
