Re: (jaymags)
The ERV3 is the replacement for the ERV2. I'm not sure what improvements had been made. Maybe a little lighter?

RE: Difference between V2 and V3 chains
According to DID ad in August CycleWorld the V3 has 5% greater tensile strength and 15% greater fatigue strength then V2 chains.

Re: Difference between V2 and V3 chains (sb748)
Thanks for the info. I just opened one and noticed that all the links have rivits that are pressed on both sides unlike the EVR2.

Re: Difference between V2 and V3 chains (todapower)
I think it is for that reason the master links are not interchangeable between the V2 and V3.

Re: Difference between V2 and V3 chains (jaymags)
Are these good to run on a 998? I've read various opinions on 520 / 530.

Re: Difference between V2 and V3 chains (srg5150)
regardless of what bike you own, a 520 chain is lighter and produces less friction than a 530 chain.
