Default The ups and downs of Motocross

I've been out to my favourite MX practise track this weekend with my boys for some off road fun. To make life more interesting the owners reversed the track which made it much more interesting and technical, To acclimatise myself I took it easy for a couple of sessions as you do just building up speed and jumps as I went along and by the third session I was getting quite confident cocky even until I tried to pass a slower rider going into a flat right hand corner that I usually took wide and squared off with the power, not this time lost the front went down on my right leg and bust my right fib near the ankle joint. It's a spiral fracture and slightly displaced so might need pinning but thanks to the British NHS I'm going to have to wait till Thursday morning to see the consultant so that may have put me out of action for a few weeks.
Hopefully they'll pin it as that may enable me to attend a trackday I have booked next month at Brands Hatch, I actually have three booked but one is tomorrow and one next week and my name isn't Horhay.

CB, that totally blows but at least you're able to post up about it and will seemingly make a full recovery in due time! Far too often people are being hurt much worse, David Bailey, Doug Henry, Ricky James and Ernie Fonseca to name a few. Your fate is 99% of the reason I stick to trail riding as my bosses have made it clear that I better get my arse into work no matter how bad the getoff. Heal up quick!

Thank you, sadly trail riding isn't much of a option in the UK as the present government have eroded our access to trails and Green Lanes, the only real option is MX practise tracks, anyway I enjoy riding deeper sandy/loamy tracks as opposed to the clay soil we have in this part of the UK, infact my favorite track is comprised of wood chippings mixed with loamy/ peaty soil it makes for an interesting and changable track.
