Judging from your other posts, I figured you would have been a tad older...

Awesome Christmas present BTW.

Hey Gambler - I'm looking at a 50 for my 4 year old Daughter (she'll be 4.5 when the snow clears up here). I'm torn between the Yamaha and the KTM. I see you have Orange - any preference? I'll be doing the wheels4tots on the bike to start and I'll get myself a 450 (first dirt bike in years). Thoughts?

get the Yamaha, a very forgiving bike with E start
you can adjust the amount of throttle available as they get more riding experience - oil changes, filter cleaning, & chain adjustment is all they need to run forever

the KTM's 2 stroke has the powerband of a light switch, are scary fast,
not to mention the maint of a high reving motor & clutch eater

my boy has been riding the TTR50 since he was 4 & was ready to get a real race bike, so we bit the bullet & got him one with a TH Racing motor
the King Cobras are the next step, if he gets fast before it's time to move to 65's
