Looks pretty sweet to me. The motox track looks fairly tame and the harescramble trail would be fun.

It looks like I'll have to convert the supermoto back to MX at some point this summer.

Huh, I didn't see any info about the harescramble trail. Must be blind.

Anyway, right now I'm getting the KDX ready for the asphalt track season.

I might be able to get over there, I haven't had the chance to even ride yet this year. I usually go to Hurricane hills or Meadow valley for practice, but I haven't ridden on Arkansaw yet so that would be fun.

All I know of actual MX tracks are the horror stories I hear out of places like Elko, where it's pretty much a free-for-all on the track. I heard there was a nasty crash down there a couple of weeks ago where a rider landed on top of another one in the middle of track after a jump. Ugly.

A mid-week weekday at Arkansaw might be pretty quiet, though.

Tony you should come out its been a while since I talked to you last. We just went to Meadow Valley last Saturday lots of riders but everyone rode smart so I think the Elko issue is an isolated deal. I have never been to Arkansaw either so this should be intersting. Also if your going bring something to grill we will have a grill there as well.

I should make it out there by 10-11 A.M. saturday my bike is #752 YZ 426 , I'm hoping it doesn't rain otherwise I may get some things done with my R1. There is a race Sunday at Midway MX in Kellogg that I may go watch, my nephew is racing there.

There is one jump at Elko where all the problems happen, the Moto Primo jump. As soon as you land that jump you have to get on the brakes for the next corner, it seems like a lot of people try to back out of jumping it at the last second and come down on the nose or case it. It's not that big of a jump, but because you're jumping a gap it's a lot more intimidating plus there is a bermed corner right after you land. I've seen a few people ride right off the berm before, that is the jump where my nephew crashed 2 years ago and was airlifted out of there.

Hurricane Hills is a lot of fun and is good for any calibur rider, most of the bigger jumps are tabletops so it makes jumping easier if you come up short. Weekdays are wide open with hardly anyone there.
