Default Forum name change....

How about renaming the "lounge" to the "political garbage forum"? 90% of the topics there are nothing but political posts anyways.

How about posting some non-political stuff, then ?

If you don't like a political post, don't read it. Auto-censorship, know what I mean ?
There used to be some interesting and funny stuff in the lounge, now it's all politics, but as that is also an incredibly important part of life, this is a fair reflection of reality. If people feel the need to inform their fellow citizens and people who share similar interests of something that is important to them, why not ?

As long as the politics don't creep out into the bike forums, and as long as we respect Dave's forum rules, and remain polite (well, sorta...) what's the problem ?

Dont even have to read the posts. The TITLES are bad enough. Policrap isnt an "important part of life" to everyone. And every one of those posts end up with alot of bullshit thrown both ways. The lounge was sooo much better when Dave put that political board up during the elections and kept them up there. Didnt even have to look at them since I never wandered in there. Thankfully a couple other boards I'm on prohibit any political and religeous posts just to keep the site from going into the crapper. And ya know something? it works. Already seen one board go from fun and very busy to a complete drag and hardly any participation due to the garbage involving politics.

If I wanted to be 'informed', I read a newspaper, watch TV or snag it off a newspaper/tv website. Dont care to hear blurbs of fiction from both ultra-left wing liberals and the ultra-right wing conservatives.

Fair enough. Can't argue with that.

I look foward to your posts in the lounge about "anything but politicrap".

Lk,

I can't believe that I am on the same page with you on anything, but I agree with your post! Wow, did hell just freeze over?
