simon, I would love to hop on this. I have an odd head and helmet fitting is hard. what is the closest thing you can compare this too that I can go try on at a store to see if it would maybe work. I know its a quite un-scientific method and no guarantee but if there is a similar feeling from another helmet (arai, suomy, shark, icon, etc) then I would love to go try it on first to see if it may work. thanks bud

Free Bump
I got notice of mine shipping today... I'll post some pictures. Simon delayed shipping to enclose pictures of all the hot grid girls from Motegi!

Simon - package arrived today and I think the porn was suppose to go to your other customer!
In all honesty this helmet is fantastic; pictures Simon has posted do not do it justice. Fit/finish is first rate, fit is just like my Arai RX7RR and the visor is a lite smoke with a soft blue iridium tint. The visor mechanism is first rate; just push two buttons in on the side while the visor is open and it pops right off. To reinstall go from the same angle and slide it back on - snaps right in. As for weight I would put it on par to my Suomy Vandal and Vemar VSR. My Arai feels like a boat anchor next to it. While the replicas are almost gone for the price you can't go wrong. While it holds the Japanese Safety Standard (Highest and Hardest to get) you might want to check your local organizer if you plan on racing with it. I do know that WERA requires SNELL and don't know about the others. If you are in MN and want to drop by and see it drop me an PM.

Tried to get some good shots today outside using the phone access post as a prop but it's hard for a picture to do this helmet justice.

simonkobe is undoubtedly the MAN in these parts. every transaction has been flawless. Even if I wanted to, and spent days trying, I could not find nor even make up a single negative thing to say about him, nor his business, nor his practices, nor anything. I honestly think he undercharges for the level his products and services are on.
I just received the akiyoshi-gp model. what a thing of beauty! I could not decide on a visor so I got clear, smoke, and chrome iridium so I have options, LOL. anyhow, another transaction all smiles from me. I am grateful simonkobe is here to help us get all these top end products for us. big ups to you buddy!

If you have an Arai RX7RR the fit is identical. I pulled my old Edwards Replica out of the box as a reference.

well I wore it today on a nice afternoon ride and it's a very nice helmet. I didn't get the buffeting like I do with my Suomy, it's quiet like my Shoei X11 (I wear ear plugs) and the screen that I thought wouldn't be dark enough is actually very nice. The helmet is a little bit on the large size (I'm just a tick mark or two into a XL side (61CM) and a L is simply to small for me) so I've pinged Simon to see if I can insert L cheek pads. When I put on my other helmets this one is just the most comfortable - fantastic room in the ear pockets. Yes I got back today and I had a major bug splat just at the top of the visor with the guts going all the way to the back. Whatever it was it gave it's life for a good cause.
