Mileage? Issues? Original parts? Reason to sell?

Dude you can get way more than that. I sold my 04 749 dark for 13K. I had all that on your'e bike and a little more. You should get at the very least 15,500-16,000. Good luck I know you can do it.

High book value is near 12.5? Good....maybe with the $3,700 DP kit I put on I can get what Im asking.
If its not sold soon she will get shucked off the the back row like the rest of the rides to make way for the newest white boosted beeatch.
Ill put it in my living room with a lamp on the seat before I sell it for less than what Im asking.
Dont believe me?......come over for supper.

I'm not claiming to know everything about duc's, but you certainly didn't put much info or effort into your for sale post for anyone to make an informed decision. I think you took what i said the wrong way as well. I wasn't saying your bike isn't worth what you are asking, nor did i specifically say it was worth more. It may be worth a 100K to that certain someone. In all honesty i think the price is spot on. All i'm asking is what was i missing on the bike because someone certainly thinks the bike would easily fetch 15K+. Its just with my limited knowledge(and i'm sure others) i can't see through telepathy what would make this person say it will absolutely sell for 3K or more over book.

I hear ya.
Its just a standard 999 with a exhaust kit on it.
The price I ask is fair. Its not worth much more.
Fortunately the prices of Ducati are getting more within reach for the general public.
I only paid $14k out the door last December. The 05s were on the way and they wanted it gone. The 06s will do the same for some lucky 05 leftover buyers.
Like I said....if the machine deosnt bring what I ask it will get ridden a few times a year.
Anyone who knows Ducati 999 will agree. Its just another bike.
To some its much more.
I look forward to ride it I just hate to clean all those tight spots throughout.
Dont sweat it............I understood you.
For you....$12,900
Nothing missing on the bike.Even comes with a heavy ass stock exhaust.Ill throw that in for free.
