how do you like it? i am thinking of getting the 910R. By the way, not too much traffic here for MV. However, try http://www.mvagusta.net This site is very good for MV's!

Default All is not lost--another Brutale owner here.

Consider me one of the few (at least at Speedzilla)... I got my 910 about a week ago--can't wait until it's past the break-in period.

Anyone around the SW Missouri area?

Break it in yet? If so, what are your thoughts of the bike?

Default Having 600-mile service done.

The bike had 750 miles when I took it in for its 600-mile service.

The Brutale is one cool bike--I can see why people like inline-fours in general, and MV Agustas in particular. My last four bikes were all twins, three being Ducs, so switching to a four-cylinder took some getting used to.

The Brutale corners like crazy and while the brakes may not have the initial bite of Brembos, they work remarkably well. It does seem a little tall in terms of ride height (I'm like 5' 9") and the seat is a little hard (I'm only 145lbs with below average body fat). And there's that banshee-like exhaust note when the rpms start climbing above 4k... If my 999 is like a growling dragon, my Brutale is like a shrieking demon!

I've experienced the so-called on/off switch throttle response some owners have talked about but I partially attribute that to my being an I4 newbie. And it doesn't seem to pull that hard unless the rpms are 4.5-5k, but I think that's a four-cylinder thing.

There also is some kind of fluid seeping from the airbox area which I've read about and confirmed with the mechanic as being the lubricant used in the air filter--which should go away after more riding, from what I understand.

My only regret is that I don't have available funds to upgrade the exhaust... I've heard clips and seen virals of what's available and I think my Termignoni-equipped 999 will be a little embarrassed having a "mute" Italian naked bike as a garage-mate!

suprajoe, did you get the 910R yet? You don't have to worry about upgrading it too much since it already comes with some nice goodies to begin with!

Didn't get it. I instead dropped that money into my RC. I would really like the F4. I have been paying two house payments for quite some time and finally got a contract on the house I am selling. Plus, I am working on a really big business deal and if it goes through, then maybe I will be able to get an MV. It would be nice. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Have fun with yours!!!
