I think its the same as the new OEM. I bought it from a dealer who had an overstock and was eBaying them. I paid $50 I think. Previously I had the huge old-school water battery that puked on my frame a couple of times...after the second time I binned it for this one which is much lighter and is maintenance free.
My HC 944 doesn't seem like it wants to start: brump......brump....brRRROOOOOMMMM but it always does
Its better when warm of course, but I have not had any problems.
