They are completely worthless, even in parts i could not even approach what i have in it ( i can't even get 1000 for the motor!, only would have sold like $1500 worth of parts and then the rest was trash) and i got a left over. if you pay sticker or even withing 4000 of it you are still losing your ass in depreciation on this pos. If this was a monster this would not be an issue, be sure to do some SERIOUS research before you plunk the $ down.
In all honestly it is a wonderful machine, it handles great, stops great, it looks amazing. Everything about the actual machine is great, but be warned that if it is your first Ducati(like it was for me) be prepared for poor dealers, bad parts, overpriced half assed service and a general depression over your loss. Now I am not saying that they all are like that, but I know the experience I had is less than i expected. Been to 3 dealers, been overcharged by all of them for service.

Maybe the bike's biggest problem is you?
I got $5000 for my 900 sport that was close to a year old and I bought it as a left over for 5995. I could have got more for it but sold it to a friend and didn't care to split hairs.
The Supersports are great bikes and all your whining and bitching not only casts a unfounded negative limelight on the SS and their owners, but it smacks of assinine drivle of a guy who just can't shut his yack longenough to enjoy his motorcycle.
Winter's coming genius, look where you are? Common sense, NO DUH! you're not selling. Why don't you spend less time bitching and moaning over exhaust straps headlights and get on your bike and ride it. Christ.
