Default S4/916sp/996 upgrade

Question 1
If I buy a crank case, crankshaft with rods, 2 cylinders with pistons and 2 cylinder heads for a 996Bp very cheap. Is it possible to take the rest of the parts from a S4 engine and install in the 996 engine and getting it working. Ofcourse I will need to sort out the swingarm issue and it might need some different pullies for the timingbelt but exept for that. Do i need some thing more? The engine will be runned with S4 electronics with a PC3.

Question2
What does need to be modified an a 916 sp 3 engine (ZDM 916 W4) to work in a S4. The things that I can see is the problems caused due to different ECU and generator. Is it possible to sort this in an easy way? What needs to be changed.

What are the valve size on a 916 sp3? I have also heard that 916 sp engines will be possible to upgrade to 955 without machining the case. What is the differens from a normal 916. Is it just a bigger hole for the cylinders in the case on sp or is it also different spacing between the studs? Does it have a stronger case?
