Aside from the below, he hasn't ridden a proper GP bike in 5 years. He would have NO idea what to do on an HRC bike. Hell, he was lost in 2007 on the 800 bike. Yeah, I know "the 1000 would suit him better" but again that was 5 years ago. Just don't think he's as fast as you remember him. Would be great if I was wrong, but I doubt we find out. Don't see Ducati in GPs after this year and Nicky (and possibly Spies) will get replaced by all the crazy talent coming up thru Moto2.
Nicky hasn't won a race in 2088 days and Rossi hasn't seen the top step of the podium in 548 days. Time has passed them both by sadly.
