While changing to a slipon I started a 2000 VFR with no pipe at all...
It sounded mean, I've always liked the sound of a V4 bike motor. A Vmax with the correct pipe setup sounds very good also. Yamaha had a V4 2 stroke 800cc snowmobile back in the 80s...great piped sound. Sorry for the thread jack
