ok back to the project.
here are some shots of the front end. the head light, which everybody seems to love is an 8 inch off road HID light. it's like daylight when I turn the thing on. I do need to fab up a bulb shield to get some cut off in the beam. I don't want to blind anybody.

The forks are off of my Yamaha track bike. 94 YZF750. it was a super easy swap believe it or not. the bearings and races were all exactly the same. the Yamaha stem was about a 1/4" inch shorter than the Honda's. a little mixing and matching of nuts and seals and she bolted right up.

there are still a few things to be tidied up in this picture, but don't mind all of that. we'll get there later.
