Yes, I agree completely and I also, if I read your pov correctly, do not see it as a bad move. More spec series with better racing and lower costs makes sense in these economic times. The BSB series is a good series, the AMA isn't. But I do not believe it is the lack of high spec high dollar equipment. More lack of talent in the AMA. More parity and lower costs will bring more manufacturers (I hope) and certainly more competitors.
