That's basic economics, dude. And I wasn't even talking about money, which is only one way to measure a cost. I'm talking about Opportunity Cost, which exists for every decision and action we take. I can't imagine the opportunity cost of the Global Warming movement already. I can't imagine how much worse it will get with Cap'n'Trade and some of these global agreements to literally burn money and waste resources that could be better used elsewhere.

In Washington? There aren't any conservatives there to complain!!!!
In real life, Bush lost the support of most people like me early on with his out-of-control spending. I don't know anyone who wanted to vote for him in 2004, because he had already proven that he wasn't the conservative he campaigned as in 2000. But I know plenty of people who had to make that vote because of the alternative. Gotta love politics!
