I'm running 16.5s on mine. I bought them because I got a set of forged magnesium wheels for about $2k. The MOI of magnesium wheels is very low. For instance:

Marchesini forged Aluminum wheels weigh 8.8 lbs frt. and 13.8 lbs rr. MOI is 512 lb in^2 frt and 786 lb in^2 rr.

Marchesini forged mag wheels weigh 6.5 lbs frt and 11.12 lbs rr. - not a huge difference, but the MOI is 276 frt and 373 rr. a very large difference that is has a noticable effect.

I can't claim to ride 16.5 s'bike slicks to the limit, but the difference in handling from stock wheels was almost like riding a completely different motorcycle. No regrets.
