Those who would flame are in denial. Leave the cammers to Harleys and Goldwings. When ti comes to sporting applications, a two-stroke is the way to go, especially with modern electronics and intke/exhaust technology which allow you to broaden the powerband and tame the power delivery. I would like someone to explain how a more compact engine (and all the advantages that entails in terms of chassis design) with significantly lighter weight and increased power cannot be good in a sportbike application? After all, is that not exactly what engineers and designers are always striving for?
