I do Berryessa about once a week. But I wait until the commute is done. Very few cars, almost never see a cop, more worried about deer and turkeys. Last year the feds decided that all those lakeside resorts had to move. They had no true right to live there so that really cut down on the traffic. Still gotta watch out for drunks on the weekends, fresh off their speedboats and sloshed to the gills. Every year there's a couple of drunks who drown out there. One of my friends in high school was water skiing and slamed into the Putah Creek bridge. He's got a big plate under his scalp now. Ended his football career. I heard about another water skier who fell and did a big ole rip up the crotch, and I'm not talking about his trunks.

Rock, you ever ridden Skaggs Springs Road in Sonoma? That and Rockpile are absolute musts. The best in the north bay. Weekends bring out the tools though. One of them t-boned a van recently and went straight to heaven.
