ok guys heres the deal,

bike is a 2002, with all the normal goodies, minus airbox and snorkel and also does not have the soft rev mod.

i had the 16k service done about 1 month ago and about 300 miles ago, valves were in spec and everything was awesome, until i was riding home one day, hit some bumps in the road and the bike sputtered and then died. pulled over and it started right up and ran perfectly, about ten miles later on flat highway(no bumps) the bike sputtered and died. finally got to where i was going and rode the rest of the day about 90 miles and the bike ran flawless. about 2 weeks went by and i am on my way home from a meet about 60 miles from home. going down the highway, come down an on ramp and the bike sputters and dies, does this three more times within a 30 mile section on the way home.

got home, filled her up with new gas and ran it for a while, nothing at all. following day took all the plastics off and that is how she sits now. i checked all the wires and everything is in good shape, no wear or tear in any of the sleaving. took the battery out tonight and cleaned the terminals, checked everything, including the ecu terminals and everything is perfect. plug it back in , bike turns on , fuel pump wont even make a noise now. the relay in the back clicks like normal, the pc runs like normal, but the fuel pump does absolutely nothing.

i cant figure out what is wrong with this thing at all, its driving me nuts, a month ago it was working perfectly and now all of a sudden its got a case of the yipps.

any insite you guys can give would help out greatly,

do you think it could be the fuel pump is dead?
the ecu?
tps?

i have no clue, as far i can think it may be a bad connection somewhere or something but its killing me
