I like this.... and your probably right as the 996r and the 998r are up there with the other iconic special bikes. To correct you though... there are not a ton of 1098r's running around my man. There are a ton or 999's and 996's though. And I will toss in my bet of 18-19k final price. Although if you are a real lover like most of us here you would ride the piss out of that thing knowing the whole time you got a great deal. I bought one of my ducs for 1800 bucks (748) and I am never selling it. I have a goal of 100k miles on the dam thing and I will hit that! Taking advantage of the economy gets tiring after awhile... there is more enjoyment in the world! Like having a 998r and fukcing running it hard, powering out of the corner on turn 3 with the front end in the air knowing someday your bike like all will be plain metal again and you will be long gone. Wow... I got deep for me.
