It is ironic that you are selling to buy an investment property because home prices have fallen so much, but don't realize high-end luxury items like a 998R have also tanked, regardless of desirability. Priced a 550 Maranello lately?
Obviously you can have an asking price of whatever you wish. You are right it would always take a certain type of buyer to purchase it from you. Unfortunately for you those same people are now used to getting serious deals as people unload toys. Welcome to deflation.
I will predict the final sale price will be closer to 19k than 24k. The only way to know is if you post the sale price when it's finished. Are you prepared to do that, genius?
