I prefer 2-valve motors when touring, air-cooled even better. These 4-valve, water-cooled, radiator-clad machines do not do anything for me while touring, and would probably be more likely to be disabled by small 'incidents' like a radiator leak, punctured oil filter, etc. Those rubber timing belts are so 1980s technolgy.
The 150+ horsepower is not needed either.
I'll stay with Moto_Guzzi.
