Titanium/Ergal ride height adjuster. I'm assuming this is a DP unit. Looks like it's proper length for 748-998 bikes. Effective adjustment range of 239-275mm. Unfortunate for me, it was just a little too long for my 749r. Nice piece, sure hate to see it go. One note about the finish: looks like the P.O. may have had some chemical on his hands when he installed it; there is a minor change in the sheen on the finish, kinda like when you spray WD-40 on something.
