so I changed my oil tonight... was thinking about the rotella but just couldnt bring myself to do it haha. Went with amsoil, so I drain the oil, change the filter and put four quarts in her. The level through the site glass is perfect.... I fire her up let her run for til shes reads a temp then I shut her down. I look in the site glass and no ol level to be found? I waited awhile thinking maybe it needed to settle again but after a maybe 10 or so minutes still nothing. YES the bike is on both tires (no stands) and standing up even (no side stand) . Shes been sitting in my garage for the past couple weekes with only a couple cranks on her here and there. I DID forget to fire her up before I changed the oil... could that be my issure? Letting the oil settle for a week or so then changing it plus the filter?
I searched around and around and believe me.... an oil issue is THE LAST THING I WANTED to ask about.
any advice would be great!
