Surely torque is a function of engine size, while power is a function of engine size and breathing (assuming they both can hold together at the desired rpm)?

Also a 90 degree v2 is better balanced than a inline 2 thus surely it could rev higher with lighter components (ie. casing holding it all together, etc).
Pete
Torque is a function of displacement, valve area, and cam timing. Period. Power is a function of this plus rpm.
