I've got a set of 999 camshafts that I need to identify. Although I have the part numbers, I don't know if that's exactly what's in the box.
For example, I believe I have a pair of Horizontal and Vertical exhaust cams for the 996R (01) and 998R (03), in box, but not positive that they are R cams vs stock 999 cams.
The HE cam has OS-04/02 stamped in it, a blotch of light blue paint, and the letters OS2D stamped in it. Part number 14820801B is on the box.
The VE cam has VA-M04 / 02, a blotch of light blue paint and VA2D stamped in it. Part number on the box is 14820811B
I also have a pair of horizontal and vertical intake cams for a 999 S (03), but also not positive they are exactly that.
The HI cam has VS-M04 / 02 stamped in it, with the same blue paint, and VS2D stamped. This box has part number 14820782B.
The VI cam has OA-M04 / 02 stamped in it, blue paint, and OA2D stamped. This box has part number 14820792B on it.
(I think this last pair are in the wrong boxes, as I seem to recall that "VA" is a vertical cam, and "OS" is a horizontal cam.
Can anyone tell me exactly what I have?
