Question Repairing a dent in the tank?

When I bought my GS500 the only blemish was/is a small dent in the tank. It has only just broken the paint unfortunately and was apparently caused by the previous owner dropping a TV on the bike ...

Anyway is there tricks to repairing this sort of thing or is it going to be ugly involving removing paint, and pulling out, etc. I'd like to pull it out and not have to repaint and accept the current crack in the paint (which you can't really see) and just keep the tank polished so it won't start rusting, etc.

Or is there a tank repair master in Sydney?
Pete
