Ya know something its posts like the one above that sound ignorant to me at times.

First, I LOVE the RC30/45 models, probably the finest production bikes ever made by Honda, just like a love the OW01's/R7's/etc... and the 888's and every other proven SBK/specialty bike in the last 20 yrs.

However, Im so sick n tired of hearing about their 'value'....gimme a freakin break guys if you're buying a bike for resale 'value' then you're buying it for the wrong reasons and most definitely NOT riding it the way it was meant to be cuz afterall we dont want to risk totalling that 'value'.....right? You want VALUE go but some stocks/funds/real estate.....I dont wanna hear about resale value when it comes to a machine that was meant to rip!!!!

Face the facts, those bikes were all incredible machines 'back in the day' and I'll give ya they're still beauties today. BUT.....to compare their performance (with serious $$$ sunk into them) to a stock machine is moronic, imo. Stock vs stock, I believe MY GSXR750 would smoke the RC30/45.......does it make it a better bike or more valuable? NO, just faster.


It so reminds me of the morons I used to socialize with with their $100,000+ exotic sport cars but NEVER truly delve into the capabilities of them. Posers I tell ya!
