80K I presume that's pounds sterling that's $131,000, spend that on a modern inline 4 and you'd have a bike capable of being top ten in any Superbike race.
Spend it on a GSXR750 and watch the RC fade in the exhaust smoke.
IIRC the RC45 was priced level to the 1098r is now when introduced although later discounted as nobody wanted to waste their hard earned on it so it was priced as a exotic bike maybe a comparison against a bike tuned to a similar level would be advisable.
