BikeBoy.org - Ducati 2V Carb Model Ignition – Reducing advance, Ignitech TCIP4 and stuff - do so for the info about how the ignitech works (ime) and what you need to do to get more advance. i ran a map sensor to mimic a tps, but it doesn't completely as the map is not consistantly related to throttle opening, and the relationship from cruise to wot was much less in terms of voltage change than a tps, but you can get the idea. i added spark advance at lower rpm and higher throttle to help the stumble i was getting with soft carb springs in the mikunis, mainly when cold. they really need acc pumps, which you have anyway. email me at work - brad at bikeboy dot org - and i'll email you one of my ignitech maps.
there is a cagiva gran elephant spark map in this report, although you should be able to use much more advance at part throttle, higher rpm -
