running rich
well, a coupla small items are sorted.
PO said bike always turned over slowly, bought new battery - no help. i took off the ground cable spade connection at the frame (left side) and noticed paint was still on the frame. sanded off the paint, sanded both sides of the spade connector. also sanded the both connections/spades at the frame-to-engine ground cable (right side). zoom! starts right up.
also hooked up a battery tender.
the "running rich" question has been answered too. just needed to be run: after a 65mile cruise, plugs are fine.
am looking at a used corbin, but the underside is a little funky. did like the sargent seat with tool kit i had on the monster. we'll see what shows up.
