I've got one of those, decent detailing for $3. As long as you don't expect super-realism and realize they are just toys, it is pretty neat. I am suprised Maisto hasn't made a Desmosedici RR yet. Maybe Ducati won't let them. They already make all the GP bikes from Ducati/Honda/Yamaha.
I emailed them once about the VR1000 and Britten as toys and actually got a response. The guy said they have been trying to get Harley's racing models for year, but they will only let them make the streetbikes. A Harley series (there are over 20 at last count) with the VR1000, XR750, KR750, Buell 1125r racer, and maybe the ill-fated MX250 from the late 70's would be a cool addition to their other models.
As for the Britten, I can't see why there would be much resistance to making it. Certainly a few bucks for the Britten family in royalties wouldn't be a bad thing.
