Pierre, I would venture to say you have more miles on your Desmosedici than any bike here in the States. At least you ride it and I would say it would be difficult not to.
BTW, did you ever recover your 916?

I also enjoy surfing around your website. I'll bet some of those structures/buildings in the background on some of your pictures are quite old. I recall having dinner one night at a cafe in Bologna and noticed a fairly good sized building next door because it appeared old due to the bricks it was made of. When someone said 1500 AD I almost fell out of my chair. Its amazing much of the stuff you see were built when we were in our infancy. That is a perspective I have learned to appreciate in my international travels and is a source of my one regret when I retire June 1st. My international travel opportunities will be greatly curtailed at that time. Sometimes we get a little cocky over here and fail to realize much of the civilized world was well established before we came to be. I'm sure having that kind of depth only time can create can only enrich a culture. Lets hope as we age we become more humble as well. We have done many good things with positive results, more than the negative ones for sure.
